2019 ABS Continuous Certification Assessment Results and Feedback


Results Summary


In 2019, the ABS Continuous Certification Assessment was expanded to include vascular surgery, pediatric surgery and curgical critical care, in addition to the general surgery assessment which has been available since 2018. For the 2019 assessment administration, 2,519 diplomates completed the assessment, with a pass rate of 99.7%!

Upon completion of the Continuous Certification Assessment, diplomates are given the opportunity to provide feedback aboout the assessment experience by responding to a 19-question survey. The following charts show the responses that were provided for each specialty assessment.
