The American Board of Surgery (ABS) and the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery (ABOHNS) recently undertook efforts to create a test blueprint for a new focused practice designation in adult complex thyroid and parathyroid surgery. A test blueprint is a document that defines the content to be tested on an exam, and it is important that these documents accurately reflect current practice and training.
To ensure that the test blueprint aligns with the knowledge and skills required of practicing thyroid and parathyroid surgeons, we invite you to review and provide feedback on the draft blueprint. Your feedback will be used to inform further revisions to the blueprint.
