Leading up to the launch of EPAs in July 2023 for all ACGME-accredited general surgery training programs, the ABS held frequent webinars, town halls and related virtual events, in addition to sending representatives to speak at in-person meetings when possible. Recordings of these presentations are available to view on our EPA Resources page. 

For anyone who is interested in learning more about EPAs, we encourage you to view our video library and register for upcoming events as they are scheduled.

ABS Vascular Surgery EPA Developmental Strategy Webinar
Tuesday, Jul. 16, 2024 | 7:00 p.m. ET / 6:00 p.m. CT / 4:00 p.m. PT

This webinar will focus on developmental materials and strategies that institutions may utilize as they prepare for the launch of vascular surgery EPAs this coming fall. Presentations will also include feedback and lessons learned from the pilot and a review of developmental materials that are available.

ABS EPA Webinar: Dashboards for Program Administrators
Monday, September 23, 2024 | 1:00 p.m. ET / 12:00 p.m. CT / 10:00 a.m. PT

New feature alert! In the coming weeks, the ABS will be launching web-based dashboards for the ABS EPA App data. During this webinar, the ABS team will be joined by dashboard beta test users to show program administrators how to best use this new feature to track their residents' progress with EPAs.
